The Tauranga Boys’ College Visual Art Department offers a comprehensive and engaging programme that develops students’ technical skills, critical thinking, and conceptual understanding. Students can choose to study Art and/or Design from Year 9 through to Year 13, with Photography available from Year 12 onwards. 

Our courses introduce a wide range of mediums and processes, giving students hands-on experience and creative exploration. With access to new technology and up-to-date tools, students are well equipped to pursue further education, creative careers, or simply a lifelong appreciation for the visual arts.
